We created Nord & Mae to tell your story through truly personal weddings, intimate elopement designs and genuine lifestyle content. You are our number one inspiration for all our designs.
Nord & Mae was founded as a brand of the 8 year old award winning event design studio Hey Look based in Helsinki, Finland. We specialise in genuine and personal weddings, authentic story-telling and creative direction. We offer full-service wedding planning and design, floral design, styling & creative direction, as well as stationery design.
Through the past years we have designed, styled or planned hundreds of weddings, events and photo shoots, worked with brands like H&M, &Other Stories and Lumene, and our work has been featured on national TV and radio as well as in many high-profile international print and online publications.
During these years we have built a great network of outstanding suppliers, vendors, freelance stylists, florists and other creatives – many of whom we call our friends now. For your wedding, event, photoshoot or project, we are happy to be able to rely on this network time and time again to produce amazing results together with our own team.
Each year we take on a very limited number of weddings, elopements and other projects to ensure the best possible service for our clients.

About Nord & Mae
Our passion for authentic and well-functioning design guides our work in all aspects. Perfectionists as we are, for our business we wanted to raise the sometimes lacking local standards in weddings to international level.
We always walk that extra mile and put in way more hours than you’re paying us for. That probably makes us bad business women, but there simply isn’t a way that we could ever stop striving for our work to be the best it can possibly be. “That’s good enough.” isn’t part of our dictionary. One could describe us as creative and emotional, as well as pragmatic. We dream crazy big, but always come up with realistic, practical ways to achieve what we set out for.
Telling our clients' stories is our passion. We don't care if that story is entirely "on brand" for us. We won't try and sell you stuff just because it will look great in our portfolio. We just want to show you, in the most beautiful, authentic way possible. We will make you the star of the show, of your own story, of our lives for a little moment. Being able to work with people from all over the world in this way is the greatest reward we could ever think of.
